Home house such a lovely place I volunteered here for a few days each week during the summer I learned so much from how to plant seedlings to how to harvest produce. Eating throughout the day was so rewarding and satisfying to know that most of the things on my plate came from the farm it was amazing can’t wait to go back!

The best place to get away from the busy city lifestyle and reconnect with nature and yourself. Lovely, warm home and an even lovelier host. Delicious fresh food and lovely long nature walks. Highly recommend and will be going back again ♥️

We’ve had the cosiest and relaxing stay with Amanda, the house feels like a home the minute you step in due to the lovely decor and Amanda’s warm hosting and home cooked organic food. It’s surrounded by beautiful farmland and countryside, nothing short of bliss! Will definitely be staying again, thank you ♥️

I stayed at Home House with a group of friends in September and it was such a relaxing, nourishing and restorative weekend. Amanda was an attentive host and the weekend was filled with beautiful food, peaceful surroundings and wholesome activities. I can’t thank Amanda enough and I’m looking forward to our next visit already.

It was such a pleasure to spend a few days in Ramadan with Hawa. She is a wonderful host and the location , with its lake at the bottom of the garden and the beach nearby is wonderful : ideal if you wish to have time for prayer, for meditation and somatic work or if you just wish solitude.

I recently attended the 2-day weekend hempcrete course with Graham Durrant. The course blew me away and Graham’s deep knowledge of the science of building a well-performing building was evident as he gladly answered all the burning questions we had to ask him about hempcrete.

I had a hijama/cupping treatment with Hawa and it was incredibly nurturing and exactly what I needed. I felt like I was in good hands and that I could totally relax and trust Hawa, in fact I fell asleep. The setting is very peaceful and beautiful.

The Moon, the Heart and the One Who Holds Them Both

A Sufi Full Moon Ritual: Returning Creation Back to the Creator On this powerful full moon…I sit tonight in retreat and return to the One who is the Creator of the moon, the stars, all that exists in this world and beyond. Full moons have always invited me into moments of illumination, reflection and opening…and this one feels particularly potent.

The Woman who became the Garden

On flowering, fruiting and tending what was once only a seed Ive been reflecting on the life cycle of plants as I recently noticed some plants already flowering and those flowers then become more seeds. It never ceases to amaze me how nature continually mirrors where I am in life. Things I have observed many times before suddenly land in me differently when I am finally ready to truly see them.
